ST. CLOUD -- Students looking to take the next step after graduation got a taste of the job market during a career fair today (Tuesday).

The 25th Annual St. Cloud Technical and Community College Job Fair features 80 employers looking to hire or offer internships to attendees.

Organizers say 500 to 600 current or former students attended, making this one of the largest job fairs in the state.

Jackie Bauer is the director of Career Services at St. Cloud Technical and Community College. She says events like these go a long way to helping students with their future careers.

This year's job fair is the largest to-date. Bauer says additional employers wanted to attend, but were unable to due to a lack of booth space.

Students were prepped ahead of time from everything on proper dress code to resume writing, all the way to a good hand shake.

Bauer says the fair allows students to get a good feel for employers in person.

Students in attendance say they are thankful for events like this. They say it's a great opportunity to look for more permanent jobs following graduation.

The job fair was held at the St. Cloud River's Edge Convention Center.
