Stearns County’s Website Voted Best In The Country

ST. CLOUD - Stearns County has the best local government website in the country.  It was recently voted the best in the Center For Digital Government's Best of the Web awards.  The program spotlights the top 10 state, county and city websites throughout the United States each year.

Stearns county's website got high marks for it's ease of navigation, interactive mapping features, online payment systems, and use of social media.

The website serves over 25,000 people a month.

Stearns County also won a Digital Government Achievement Award in the Government to Citizen Catagory for its public safety services.  The 10 Most Wanted, outstanding warrants, and current and past inmate search services enables the public to look-up information.

There are consistently 25,000 unique visits a month to this service.
