State Patrol: Zimmerman Man Hurt After Falling Asleep While Driving
BIG LAKE - A Zimmerman man has been hurt in a rear end crash on Highway 10 in Sherburne County. The State Patrol says the incident happened just after 7:30 a.m. this (Wednesday) morning at the intersection with County Road 81 in Big Lake.
Twenty-year-old Lucas Westover suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to Monticello Hospital.
The drivers of the other two vehicles, 33-year-old Matthew Depyper of LeSueur and 50-year-old Lori Jensen of Big Lake, were not hurt.
Troopers say Westover fell asleep at the wheel and rear-ended the other two vehicles, which were stopped at a light.
