BECKER - There was a deadly crash in Becker last (Tuesday) night. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at 8:00 p.m. on Highway 10 at County Road 11.

A pickup was heading east on Highway 10 when it ran a red light and struck a caravan, which was headed north on County Road 11.

The driver of the van, 54-year-old Charles Maurer of Becker, has been killed in the crash.

Three passengers in the van were hurt. Ten-year-old Cassy Maurer of Becker has serious injuries. And 15-year-old Alentina Maurer and 15-year-old Alora Nelson of Becker both have non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup was 18-year-old Deven Garlock of Little Falls. He has non life-threatening injuries.  A passenger in the pickup, 17-year-old Carlee Bollig of Little Falls, has serious injuries. Two other passengers in the pickup, 18-year-old George Saldana of Little Falls and 16-year-old Caysi Jaronski of Little Falls, also have non life-threatening injuries.
