St. John’s Basketball Downs Bethel

COLLEGEVILLE - The St, Johns University Johnnies beat the visiting Bethel University Royals 79-63.

The Johnnies broke the game open right before half-time, going on a 23-8 run and taking a 40-26 lead into halftime.

St. John's was led by Senior Tyler Weiss led the team with 15 points and shot 70 percent on the day. Weiss also grabbed 12 rebounds. This was Weiss's third double-double of the season.
