St. Cloud Woman Taken to Hospital After Sliding Off Icy Road

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud woman was hurt after her vehicle slid off an icy road.

The incident happened at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at 9th Avenue and 13th Street North.

18-year-old Karissa Kiffmeyer from St. Cloud was traveling south when she tried to stop for a red light. Her vehicle went into a skid due to icy conditions, went off the road and hit a tree.

Kiffmeyer was taken by ambulance to St. Cloud hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
