ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra will be playing Beatles songs this Saturday during their special preview concert.

Trumpet player Patrick Thorn arranged the music for the concert. He says they've been doing these special preview concerts for a few years now, and they've been well received.

People will embrace anything we can do to increase our audience. That's our bottom line, is to get more people to hear this orchestra that has been around for 40 years. It's a cultural institution in St. Cloud. The more people we can get to hear it the better. People don't typically come out for Mozart, but the Beatles they'll come out for.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at St. Cloud State University's Ritsche Auditorium.

This is the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra's 40th season.
