ST. CLOUD -  The St. Cloud State University Baseball program has developed into one of the best in the Northern Sun Conference and division 2 baseball.

For six straight seasons the Huskies have won at least 37 games and lost no more than 14 a single season. So after back-to-back Northern Sun Tournament Championships many were starting to think this season could be a rebuilding year.

Head coach Pat Dolan says this team may not have the power of previous seasons but they are still winning games.

"To be 21-8 and be second in the conference halfway through the season I'm pleasantly surprised. We have really had a lot of guys step up."

The Huskies currently sit second in the NSIC only behind Minnesota State.

Next week will be tough road trip for SCSU. The Huskies start the week off with a double header in Duluth to take on the UMD Bulldogs than travel south to Minnesota State Mankato for the weekend.
