Free Bubble Bash Hits St. Cloud Splash Pads With DJs And Foam
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- The kids can get wet with two upcoming Splash Pad Bubble Bashes.
The St. Cloud Park and Recreation Department is hosting the first one this Friday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Lake George/Eastman Park. The second one is on Friday, August 21st, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at 10/10 Park in southeast St. Cloud.
I hire a kids DJ and he does a foam party on the splash pad, so it's super fun, especially if the kids love bubbles, this is the perfect event for them. We also do a giant bubble making station there, we bring out some yard games, we have food trucks. It's definetly a fun one for getting outside with the kids and having fun.
Programmer Cassie Woischke says the August Splash Pad Bubble Bash is a partnership with the new COP House that is now in the 10/10 Park. No registration is required, and it is free to go. Remember to bring a towel and dress in clothes that can get wet. While the event itself is free, bring money if you want to buy something from the food trucks.
Other special events coming up from the St. Cloud Park and Recreation Department include Badges and Bobbers on Friday, July 24th, and Dino Dig and Fossil Explorers on Saturday, August 22nd.
