ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud Police responded to a robbery in progress on Wednesday night.

The incident happened at about 10:00 p.m. in the 600 block of 6th Avenue South.

Seven victims were in an apartment, four 18-year-old men from St. Cloud, one 18-year-old woman from St. Cloud, one 19-year-old woman from Monticello and a 21-year-old man from St. Cloud.

Police say three or four suspects entered the apartment, showed that they had guns, and took several pieces of property from the victims.

Through interviews, it was also found that the suspects demanded drugs and money that they thought was in the apartment, leading police to think this wasn't a random incident.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department used a bloodhound to track the suspects but they were never found. An 18-year-old had non-life threatening injuries from the incident.

The case is ongoing and is being investigated by the Campus Area Police Services (CAPS) team along with the Criminal Investigation Unit.
