St. Cloud Man Faces Assault Charges After Stun Gun Threat

ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud man faces assault charges after he allegedly threatened another man with a stun gun.

The incident happened at about 9:45 a.m. yesterday (Tuesday) in the 800 block of 8th Avenue South in St. Cloud.

The 67-year-old victim told police he was threatened the night before with a taser device by 39-year-old Joshua Ford, of St. Cloud. The victim says Ford pointed the device at him and made it spark twice.

Ford was later found and was in possession of an electronic stun gun. He was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail.

He faces charges of 2nd degree assault.
