St. Cloud Man Arrested For Allegedly Punching, Threatening Woman

ST. CLOUD - A 24-year-old St. Cloud man has been arrested for allegedly hitting a woman and threatening her with a knife. St. Cloud police were called to an apartment in the 300 block of 4th Avenue South just before 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night.

Officers talked to a man and a woman inside the apartment, and then the man took off running.

The 20-year-old woman was hurt but did not require medical attention.

A police dog was called in to help track the suspect. Once police announced the dog was there, the man came out from some bushes where he was hiding. He's identified as Divelia Freeman of St. Cloud. Police say a knife was also recovered in the bushes where he was hiding.

He also had a warrant out on him in Dakota County.
