St. Cloud Man Arrested For Alleged Assault On Ex-Girlfriend

ST. CLOUD - A 39-year-old St. Cloud man is facing domestic assault charges.

St. Cloud police say they were called to the 600 block of 5th Avenue Northeast just before 6:00 a.m. this (Monday) morning.

Anthony Brown is accused going into the home of his 31-year-old ex-girlfriend with a steel collapsible baton.  He struck her multiple times on the head and hands.  He's also accused of threatening to slit her throat with a machete.  Brown was later found at his home.

The victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital where she is expected to recover.
