UNDATED - As we wait for the grass to green, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will be putting into effect their spring burning restrictions. They will go into effect Monday (March 26th) for much of Central and Northern Minnesota.

Spring fire restrictions limit open burning for about a four to six week period.  During this time, the state will not give out burning permits for burning brush or yard waste.

However, campfires are still allowed.
