ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Technical and Community College is seeking $625,000 in state funds to expand and update three classrooms.

The college will ask for legislative funding in January and would hope to receive the money in July. The three classrooms used to be dental labs before the health and finances building was updated.

Lori Kloos is the vice president for administration at the college and says the school needs more adaptable learning space for students.

"What we really need at the college is larger more flexible space and we would be able to use this space for a more interactive and engaging learning style."

The expanded classrooms could be used for art and music classes and community education.
