(Monday April 11th)

SCTCC CYCLONES 12 WILLMAR RIDGEWATER CC WARRIORS 1

The Cyclones collected thirteen hits including three home runs and four doubles, along with a huge six run seventh inning to give their pitchers a great deal of support. Drew Beier, a righty from Foley High School started on the mound, he threw six innings to earn the win. He gave up six hits, one run, issued two walks and he recorded eight strikeouts. Carter Wessel a lefty from Paynesville High School threw the final inning in relief to close it out, he issued one walk and he recorded two strikeouts.

The Cyclone offense was led by Drew Beier, he went 2-for-5 with a home run for three RBI’s. Austin Kantola a freshman from Dassel-Cokato went 3-for-5 with a home run and a double for two RBIs. Frank Fernandez a sophomore from Keys Gate Charter School Florida went 1-for-3 with a home run for two RBI’s, he earned a walk and he scored a pair of runs. Carson Geislinger a freshman from Eden Valley-Watkins High School went 1-for-3 with a double for two RBI’s, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Jackson Peter a freshman from Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa High School went 2-for-3 for an RBI, he earned a pair of walks and he scored a run. Carter Wessel a sophomore went 3-for-4 with a double and he scored a pair of runs. John Deschamps a sophomore from Centro High School Puerto Rico went 1-for-4 with a double and he scored a run. Joel Torres Rivera a freshman from Manuel Cruz Marceira High School Puerto Rico earned a walk, had a stolen base and he scored a run. Dylan Haskamp a sophomore from Sauk Centre High School earned a walk and he scored two runs.

The Warriors Sam Lenarz started on the mound, he threw 4 2/3 innings, he gave up six hits, six runs, four walks and he recorded two strikeouts. Josh Robb threw 1 2/3 innings in relief, he gave up five hits, six runs, a pair of walks and he recorded one strikeout. Nikolas Girouard closed it out with 2/3 of an inning in relief, he gave up one hit.

The Warriors offense was led by Tyler Flis, he went 2-for-2 with a double and he earned a walk. Tyler Traphagen went 1-for-3 with a double and he earned a walk. Bennett Knapper went 1-for-3 and he scored a run and Brad Bickmann earned a walk. Carter Thelen from Rocori High School went 1-for-3 and Nolan Spence went 1-for-3.

The Warriors defeated the Cyclones with six big home runs. Bennett Knapper started on the mound, he threw 5 2/3 innings to earn the win. He gave up seven hits, five runs, four walks and he recorded five strikeouts. Brad Bickmann threw 1 1/3 innings to close it out, he gave up two hits, two runs, two walks and he recorded a strikeout.

The Warriors offense was led by Tyler Traphagen, he went 2-for-4 with two home runs for three RBI’s and Brad Bickmann went 2-for-3 with two home runs for a pair of RBI’s, he earned a walk and he scored three runs. Seth Resnick went
2-for-4 with a home run for two RBI’s and Tyler Flis went 2-for-3 with a home run. Jadian Keavy had a sacrifice fly for an RBI, a sacrifice bunt, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Josh Robb went 2-for-3 with a walk, Nolan Spence went
1-for-4 and Colin Ochoa earned a walk and he scored a run.

The Cyclones Sam Boysen a freshman righty from John Marshall High School started on the mound. He threw 3 2/3 innings, he gave up five hits, five runs, one walk and he recorded two strikeouts. Landon Lunser a freshman righty from Sauk Rapids-Rice High School gave up three hits and two runs. Jake Avdem a freshman lefty from Dakota Prairie High School North Dakota threw 2 2/3 innings, he gave up three hits, two runs, three runs and he recorded three strikeouts.

The Cyclones offense was led by Frank Fernandez, their right fielder went

Dylan Haskamp, their second baseman earned a walk and he scored a run and the Cyclones short stop Joel Torres Rivera earned a walk.
