SARTELL -- Sartell residents will see the city portion of their property taxes hold the line in 2012. The city council approved a preliminary budget and tax levy Monday.

City Administrator Patti Gartland says they have a budget decrease of more than $188-thousand, but the levy is going up by $150-thousand.

Gartland says they went from getting $300-thousand in Local Government Aid to just $3,000 next year. She says it has a real impact on their budget.

Sartell's total budget amount is about $5.5-million for 2012.

Gartland says they will hold their truth-in-taxation hearing December 12th.
