Pub Grub? Tripadvisor Gives 4 Downtown St. Cloud Pubs Great Reviews

When people come to visit, I'm always on the hunt for which restaurants downtown St Cloud have the best reviews and recommendations.

I do have my favorites in the downtown area, and we will get to that in a minute, but I wanted to know which ones a national website would recommend.

After a quick Google search, I found that there were four restaurants that stood out.  One does kind of surprise me, but it's not a bad thing at all.  It definitely depends on what type of food you are looking for.  Pub grub, for instance.

OLDE BRICK HOUSE

This restaurant got 4 and a half stars on Tripadvisor.  Reviewers mentioned "great meatloaf" and also "great Irish Pub atmosphere".

7 WEST TAPHOUSE

Also, receiving 4 and a half stars.  Comments mentioned the awesome burgers there, and just a great menu.  One person stating that they don't drink beer, but there is a significant amount of tap beers available. And also saying that the service was great.

THE PICKLED LOON

This restaurant got a solid 4 stars.  Reviewers mentioning that they had a "surprisingly" good dinner on a lovely Summer August evening.  I guess they didn't expect to have great food.

THE LINCOLN DEPOT

This bar/restaurant received 4 solid stars through Tripadvisor.  Definitely pub grub. The reviewers mentioned how great the remodel looks.  And that their food is really good.  The complaint was that they need to bring back their "baskets".  Apparently they were less expensive than a regular dinner.

If you are looking downtown St. Cloud, you also can not go wrong with The White Horse, or MC's Dugout.  Both of these places have a bit more than just the normal "pub grub".  But they will be slightly more expensive than a regular bar/grill too.  But it's totally worth it.
