Powerful November Storm Ready to Hit Minnesota
UNDATED -- A Winter Storm Warning has been expanded to cover most of central Minnesota along with all of southern Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin.
Significant snow accumulation is expected in the region.
Strong northwest winds will arrive late Tuesday night and Wednesday, which will bring areas of blowing snow.
Consider altering your travel plans, if possible.
National Weather Service meteorologist Brent Hewett says Wednesday morning ``is not looking great for travel.'' Minneapolis-St. Paul could see its biggest November snowfall since 2010.
Meteorologists say another winter storm could develop after Thanksgiving into the weekend. But they say it's too soon to tell whether that system will bring rain, snow or a mix.
