Parking Ramp Construction to Close 5th Avenue North

ST. CLOUD -- A one-block stretch of 5th Avenue North in St. Cloud will be closed for months for the construction of a new parking ramp near the River's Edge Convention Center.

Starting Monday (April 13th), 5th Avenue will be closed from St. Germain Street to First Street North.

Crews will begin utility work in the area and parking ramp construction. Detours will be posted.

When the ramp is finished next year, it will add an additional 400 parking stalls in the downtown area.
