Authorities say a man accused of fatally stabbing a woman in a Minneapolis parking ramp during a robbery last month also robbed a couple outside a University of Minnesota hall and forced them to strip.
Construction of a new downtown St. Cloud parking ramp is almost complete. Assistant Public Works Director Steve Lawrence says they're putting the finishing touches on the River's Edge Convention Center ramp along 5th Avenue.
A new structure can be seen along the downtown St. Cloud skyline for the next several months. The over 100-foot tall tower crane was put up today (Friday) to help with the 5th Avenue parking ramp construction.
St. Cloud is looking into a different plan for a new downtown parking ramp. St. Cloud has $11.56 million in state bonding money for the project. However, recent bids for the project came in too high, with the lowest being $17.4 million. The bids were rejected by the council earlier this month.
