One Year Later, Local Family Reflects on Storm that Destroyed Home [VIDEO]

RICE - Eric and Stacy Alf thought August 13th, 2010, would be a day just like any other. However, when a devastating storm ripped through their Rice neighborhood in a matter of minutes, it destroyed significant parts of their home.

As a result, Eric, Stacy and their three sons lived in a hotel for 10 months while navigating the complicated web process of repairs and insurance claims.

One year later, they're home and getting ready to have a well-deserved welcome back celebration. They told WJON's Abby Faulkner the story.
