One Person Killed In One Vehicle Crash

STAPLES TOWNSHIP -- One person was killed after a one vehicle crash near Staples Township around 4:50 a.m. this (Tuesday) morning.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office says the driver 27-year-old Dale Czechowicz from Motley rolled a 2005 Chevrolet pickup into a hay field.

One of the passengers was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He died from his injuries.

Czechowicz and two other passengers received minor injuries. Deputies say alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash.

The name of the passenger who was killed has not been released.
