Night of Military Remembrance Planned for Helicopter Crash Victims
ST. CLOUD -- A candlelight vigil is being organized for the three soldiers who died in a helicopter crash. The Central Minnesota Warrior to Citizen Beyond The Yellow Ribbon will host "A Night of Military Remembrance" on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Lake George.
Chief Warrant Officer 2 James Rogers Jr., Chief Warrant Officer 2 Charles Nord, and Sgt. Kort Plantenberg died on December 5th in a crash near Marty.
Anyone wishing to honor them, or another service member or veteran, is encouraged to attend.
In addition, a memorial fund has been set-up for the three men. Donations may be sent to "Beyond The Yellow Ribbon Memorial Fund" at:
