WAITE PARK -- A new Mexican Restaurant just opened in Waite Park, Taqueria La Campechana is in the Gateway Center.

Marketing Director for the restaurant Francisco Juarez says they serve many traditional Mexican dishes.

"We have a more authentic menu. We got tacos, cow head, cow tongue, tripe. We got steak, people love it and chicken. We have the best carne asada in town, it's grilled steak with rice and beans. We're a truly authentic Mexican place."

To satisfy your sweet tooth the restaurant also has a dessert menu. Juarez says by far their sopapilla is a crowd favorite.

"The sopapilla is a homemade 10 inch tortilla, we cut it, and top it with Mexican milk, cinnamon, grenadine, whipped cream and a cherry. We serve it and kids love it."

Taqueria La Campechana is looking for a bi-lingual cashier. Juarez says they'd like someone who speaks fluent English and another language, it doesn't have to be Spanish it could be any language.

The restaurant is open Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
