DO YOU BELIEVE?

I think all of us everywhere have a fondness in one way or another for Cher. She has been performing my entire life. My parents and I would watch the Sonny & Cher show (I think on Friday or Saturday nights) when I was a kid.

Of course, I was fascinated with all of the music variety shows we watched when I was a kid, but I think what I loved most was her ability to sing so differently, to dress so differently, and to be so amazing.

AMAZING PEOPLE AND PLACES

I first saw this performance at my friend Jason Schommer's show at Le Musique Room' in St. Michael earlier this month. The show was called 'Letters to Louie' and Michael Shynes, the artist here, and another amazing musician that goes by the name D.G.S, performed all throughout that show.

Jason has always been a huge Cher fan. I've played during Jason's shows before as well, and did my own version of "If I Could Turn Back Time," because Jason would often choose music that would reflect his favorite artists and then tell comedic stories about his life; and the songs that seemed to be the soundtrack for that particular moment in his life.

A GLIMPSE

So I was amazed at how beautifully Michael performed this song, and when I saw it online, I just had to share it with you.

I hope you like it as much as I do. If you've never had the pleasure of listening to the music of Michael Shynes, I hope this little glimpse of his talent, guides you to find more about him.

I hope you like this version of the song as much as I do. (And recorded in a chicken coop?! YES!
