Merging Semi, Car Collide on I-94 Near Sauk Centre

SAUK CENTRE - A semi and a car sideswiped each other on Interstate 94 in Stearns County this (Monday) morning. The State Patrol says the incident happened at about 9:30 a.m. near Sauk Centre.

A semi driven by 76-year-old Donald Wiener of Sauk Centre was hauling a tanker and merging onto westbound I-94. A car driven by 63-year-old Robert Johnson of Isanti swerved to avoid the semi, overcorrected, and ended up under the semi's trailer.

Johnson suffered non life-threatening injuries. Wiener was not hurt.
