The St. Cloud State University men's basketball team moved past Minot State University on Saturday night to earn their second straight conference win.

The game was close the whole way. Minot led 18-16 in the first half, but SCSU took back over and never looked back. At the break, the Huskies led the Beavers 31-28. St. Cloud outscored Minot 47-45 in the second half and put the game away 78-73.

Trevon Marshall led the team in scoring with a career-high 31 points, as well as four rebounds and two steals. Illya Tyrtyshnik finished with 17 points and Anthony Roberts added 11.

The Huskies improve to 5-4 and 2-1 NSIC. They will face Southwest Minnesota State University on Friday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on AM 1390 Granite City Sports.
