
Man With Permit to Carry Defends Himself From Potential Knife Attack
ST. CLOUD - A man with a permit to legally carry a gun defended himself from being attacked with a knife.
St. Cloud Police spokesman Jason Burke says the incident happened just before 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in the 300 block of 33rd Avenue North.
A man riding a bike with a child trailer approached another man, opened a folding knife and stated "I'll slit your throat".
The victim then pulled out his gun from a back pack, and held it down pointing it at the ground. The suspect then left on his bike.
The victim has a permit to carry and was released. The suspect is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall, and weighs about 230 pounds.
