Man Accosts Two People with Knife

ST. CLOUD - Two people say they were threatened at knife point by a St. Cloud man.

St. Cloud Police report that the 32 and 20 year old victims say 46 year old Jay Peterson came after them with the knife outside of the St. Cloud Public Library at about 11:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Neither victim received injuries.

Police later found Peterson under the Granite City Bridge and took him to the Stearns County Jail. He's being held on charges of 2nd degree assault and making terroristic threats.
