Judith “Judie” A. Althaus, 70, St. Cloud

A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date for Judith “Judie” A. Althaus, 70, of St. Cloud who passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital on Friday, April 21, 2017. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Judie was born February 27, 1947 in St. Cloud to Francis “Frank” and Agnes “Aggie” (Diederichs) Althaus. She moved to Louisiana in 1979 and completed a Legal Secretary Degree at Delgado Community College in New Orleans, LA. Judie lived in Louisiana until returning to Minnesota in 1991. She enjoyed drawing, painting with watercolors, crossword puzzles, reading, and raising and showing Dobermans. Most importantly, Judie was loving, caring, and had a great sense of humor, but above all else she put her family first.

Judie is survived by her daughters, Rachel (James) Bufkin of St. Cloud, April (William Troy Adams) Benner of Sartell; granddaughter, Carmela of Sartell; siblings, Jim (Dicki) Althaus of St. Cloud, Lori (Larry) Lafrenz of St. Cloud; and niece, Christa (Fabian Ruhland) Althaus of St. Cloud.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
