The Minnesota State High School League and 45TV have agreed on contract extension that will keep the football, girls and boys hockey and girls and boys basketball state tournaments on the channel through the 2030-31 school year.

The deal gives 45TV exclusive broadcast and streaming rights for the tournaments.

“The 45TV productions of our state tournaments provide an elite level of coverage and employ top professionals in the business,” said Erich Martens, executive director of the Minnesota State High School League in a press release. “Working with 45TV firsthand, you can see their full commitment to capturing and sharing the efforts and emotions of our student-athletes and the outstanding contests in which they compete!” 

45TV is a sister station to KSTP-TV (Channel 5 in the Twin Cities) and is owned by Hubbard Broadcasting.

The Minnesota State High School League is in its 100th year of existence in Minnesota and currently boasts over 600 member schools.

Minnesotans who played for the Vikings/in NFL

Native Minnesotans who played for their home state Vikings in the NFL, and Central Minnesotans who played in the NFL.
