Eating out is so convenient, and based on the latest statistics, Americans are spending more and more time eating out than making food at home.

The next number I'm about to show you was shocking for me to see, but data doesn't lie.  According to USDA.gov, 58.5% of our total dollars spent on food were spent at restaurants in 2024.  For the true foodies out there or someone who travels a lot, this number may be even higher.

Rochester is a unique place and a location that 1.5 million people visit because of Mayo Clinic.  I've been in the lobby area and have listened to quite a few people talk about their favorite place to eat before they head back home.  Canadian Honker even has a message on its roof just for all of our visitors - and it can be seen pretty easily from St. Mary's.

Whether you are visiting our great town or have been here for a bit, the Med City is home to quite a few amazing spots to grab a bite to eat.  The Rochester Chamber of Commerce has 94 places listed in its "Restaurants, Food, and Beverages" category, which means you'll never have trouble finding a place.
