Rochester Rallies to Help Those in Need with “Fill Up The Truck” on Saturday

Giving back, helping others, supporting local...our community has so many ways to show kindness!  If you are wondering how YOU can make a difference, check out this easy way to give back on Saturday in Rochester, Minnesota.

Supporting local has been a huge focus for our team at Y-105FM, a local radio station in Rochester.  Every day our team is talking about local restaurants that we love, including the group of 6 on 2nd street who just started their own "support local" challenge.  If you missed that bit of news, if you eat at one of their spots and snap a photo, you could score free stuff from them!  It's an easy way to help keep the doors open at some of our favorite spots.

Today, another fun way to support local is here...and this time, we are helping fill up a truck!

SUPPORT LOCAL: Fill Up The Truck on Saturday in Rochester, MN

The Landing MN, an organization that helps those experiencing homelessness in our community, is one place in town where anyone who needs it can have 3 meals a day.  But to do that, they need our help.

There are several key food items that are at dangerously low levels, and it is time to help fill up the food shelves!  Below is all of the info that you need to know:

The Landing MN is blessed to have the ability to serve our guests 3 meals a day. This includes hot breakfast and dinner 5 days a week, with continental-style meals the rest of the time. All of this is made possible through the generosity of supporters like you!

As we continue to serve our guests experiencing homelessness, we're running low on key food items and we need your help!

So we're calling on our Rochester community to join us for a drive-up donation event: Feed the Hungry, Fill the Truck! 🚚

Just drive up next to M.O.U. - The Landing MN’s box truck - and our volunteers will grab your donations right from your vehicle. No need to get out!
