As soon as Halloween is over, people in Minnesota get ready for Winter, snow and Winter activities.  Some of that does include skiing, snowboarding, tubing and whatever other snow sports you enjoy.

I personally prefer tubing because you start off on your butt, which is usually where I wind up anyway doing those other activities, so why not start out there, right?

TIME HAS COME WHERE MINNESOTA IS GETTING READY FOR WINTER FUN

The ski areas around Minnesota have announced their tentative opening dates.  Mostly they just hope for below freezing temperatures so that even if there isn't any snow made naturally from Mother Nature, they can still make some.

You can even keep checking on the opening dates as we get closer to them and also what the weather and ski conditions are like through the On The Snow website.
