Everyone has been talking about how expensive concert tickets are.  The joke is that you feel like you need to take out a second mortgage in order to afford to go to the shows that are in the area over the next year. And a lot of them are really good - it's hard to afford much of the tickets that are for sale.

AN EASIER WAY TO AFFORD AND PAY FOR FESTIVAL TICKETS

Here's a great idea.  I've heard of layaway for clothes and other goods, but layaway for tickets?  That is a great idea.  Not nearly as huge of a financial hardship as it can be if you have to pay for them all at once.  It's better than a credit card too - no interest.

Minnesota Yacht Club festival has been around a few years now, and the lineup looks great.  The dates are July 17-19 at Harriet Island in St. Paul.

Minnesota Yacht Club festival takes place at Harriet Island Regional Park in the heart of downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. Experience sound waves underneath the giant cottonwoods & along the majestic Mississippi River.

WHO ARE THE HEADLINERS FOR THE MINNESOTA YACHT CLUB FESTIVAL

The headliners for this year's festival include the Lumineers, Matchbox 20 and the Strokes.  Plus the other bands making up the festival are definitely worth the price of admission.  But - to pay for it.  LAYAWAY!

Minnesota Yacht Club festival requires 50% down, and then pay later.  You also have the choice to purchase a three day ticket, or just a day ticket.  Depending on the time you have available, and which bands you are interested in, a one day ticket might be just what you need.
