Pannekoeken! Pannekoeken! Pannekoeken!

DO YOU REMEMBER THE RESTAURANT IN ST CLOUD

That was the word that was yelled throughout the restaurant when someone had ordered the delicious Dutch pancake as they ran it out to the customer.  The pancake had to be delivered quickly before it deflated.

The restaurant for the St. Cloud location was where Starbucks is currently located on Division Street in the TJ Maxx complex.  Not the same building as TJ MAXX, but it was in the same parking lot.  That particular space has been several things over the years including a Bakers Square restaurant at one time.

THERE IS ONE OF THESE RESTAURANTS LEFT IN MINNESOTA

At the time, when the Pannekoeken Huis closed in St. Cloud, the only one left in Minnesota was in Rochester - and it is still there.  Now, we have one that has opened much closer to the St. Cloud area.

NOW THERE IS ANOTHER THAT IS PART OF AN ESTABLISHED PIZZERIA

Latuff's Pizzeria and Pannekoeken Huis opened in July of this year.  They were already an established pizza restaurant, and now have added Pannekoeken.  So, you get great Dutch breakfast by morning and awesome pizza by afternoon and evening.

We are a locally owned, family restaurant that's been serving Plymouth, Minnesota since 1971, making us the city's oldest restaurant. At Latuff's Pizza, we're known for our thin-crust pizza, lasagna, fried chicken, house made dressings.  Now we have brought back Pannekoeken Huis, with same recipes as before!

HEADING TOWARDS THE CITIES - MAKE A STOP IN PLYMOUTH

They are located in Plymouth, and maintain what they call a very "family feel" to their restaurant.  You can check out their entire menu online, but the online ordering is only for the pizza side of the restaurant.  It does make sense, however, as the pannekoekens are a timing thing.  I don't believe they are going to run through the restaurant yelling PANNEKOEKEN anymore, which is disappointing, but it is still a thing to make sure and get the order to the customer in time.

Next time you are diving towards the twin cities, make a stop at Latuff's.
