Who Knew? Gift Card Swap Accepted Between These Restaurants

So, you happen to have some gift cards and they are for something like Olive Garden or Longhorn Steakhouse (closest one in Fargo) or a few other restaurants and you don't have one or more in your area.  What can you do?

The parent company Darden Restaurants, owns quite a few restaurant chains.  And their gift cards are all interchangeable no matter who's logo is on the giftcard.  This is definitely a bonus.  Especially if someone gave you a gift card for a restaurant that is not available in the area you are in, but there are other restaurants with the same parent company where the card will be accepted.

WHAT RESTAURANTS ARE GROUPED TOGETHER WITH DARDEN

Red Lobster used to be owned by Darden, but they no longer do.  That changed back in 2014.  But anyway, these ARE the restaurants that you can choose from and use gift cards interchangeably.

A LongHorn Steakhouse gift card can be used at multiple chains, including Yardhouse, The Capital Grille, Seasons 52, Eddie V’s, and, more recently, Ruth’s Chris Steak House.The same goes for any gift cards for those restaurants. Darden Restaurants now also offers gift cards featuring the logos of all its different restaurant brands.

If a gift card does not have a specific chain’s logo on it, this does not mean it cannot be used there.

A lot of these restaurants are available in the twin cities, and it's a great way to save some cash if you have a gift card for somewhere like Olive Garden and you happen to go to Ruth's Chris - score!!

Anyway, it's just something to keep in mind the next time you have a gift card for a restaurant that maybe isn't in the St. Cloud area.  Olive Garden still works, however, in this area.
