COW APPRECIATION DAY

Cow Appreciation Day returns on Tuesday, July 14th, and participating Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country invite guests to celebrate by dressing in cow-themed attire.

If you stop by the St. Cloud/Waite Park Chick-fil-A between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. wearing your best bovine-inspired outfit, you'll receive a free entrée with no purchase necessary.

The promotion is part of Chick-fil-A's 80th anniversary celebration, bringing back a tradition that has become a favorite for families, coworkers, students, and anyone who enjoys free food. It's one of those rare events where the sillier your costume, the better the reward.

GET COW COSTUME IDEAS FROM CHICK-FIL-A

The best part is you don't have to spend a fortune putting together an outfit. Chick-fil-A gives you crafty ideas for creating your own outfit. Click HERE to get some fun ideas.

Grab a white T-shirt, add a few black spots with felt or construction paper, throw on some homemade cow ears, or use a little face paint. If people can tell you're dressed like a cow, you're probably doing it right.

FREE FOOD OPTIONS

Guests may choose from several free entrée options, including the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, an 8-count order of Nuggets, or a 3-count order of Chick-n-Strips. Breakfast guests may even have breakfast entrée options available if they visit during the morning hours.

LUNCHTIME COSTUME CONTEST IDEA

Want to make it even more fun? Challenge your co-workers to a lunchtime costume contest, surprise the kids with a dinner stop after camp, or see who in your family can create the funniest cow costume using only items found around the house.

MINNESOTANS LOVE THEIR COWS

Minnesota has plenty of reasons to appreciate cows. From the dairy farms that help feed our communities to the iconic Princess Kay of the Milky Way butter sculptures at the Minnesota State Fair, cows have long been part of our state's agricultural heritage. This might be one of the few times dressing like one actually pays off.

OTHER BONUSES - PLAY 'SPOT THE COWS'

If you're a Chick-fil-A One member, there's another bonus. Through July 13th, members can play the "Spot the Cows" game in the app for a chance to earn a free medium order of waffle fries before Cow Appreciation Day arrives.

If you're planning on heading to a location other than Chick-fil-A at Crossroads Mall, you may want to check with the location first to see if they are participating in the fun.

After all, opportunities to dress like a cow and be rewarded with free food don't come around every day.
