HASTINGS, Minn. (AP) - Prosecutors have charged an Inver Grove Heights man accused of driving drunk in a weekend crash that killed a woman.

Twenty-one-year-old Nicholas Anthony Indehar appeared in Dakota County court Tuesday on two counts of criminal vehicular homicide.

Indehar is charged in Saturday's crash in Inver Grove Heights that killed 42-year-old Kim Marie Caswell of Roseville.

Officers arrived to find two vehicles on the sidewalk - a Cadillac, which had front-end damage, and a Honda minivan, which was pushed into a utility pole.

Caswell, the minivan driver, died at the scene. The driver of the Cadillac, identified as Indehar, was walking near the vehicles.

Reports say Indehar smelled of alcohol. Police say they found an open bottle of rum in the Cadillac.

Indehar is due back in court Nov. 24.
