UNDATED - This stretch of unusually warm days has certainly been a game-changer for wintertime outdoors enthusiasts.

Outdoor Reporter Jerry Carlson says, one thing he's seen spike is the number of people who've been riding the trails on ATVs.

Still, for the die-hard among us, Carlson says there ARE places in Minnesota to ride your snowmobile - like Kabetogama Lake near International Falls.

Over the last few weeks, there have been reports of ATVs and ice houses falling through thin ice. Carlson says, while there ARE some lakes with ice strong enough to handle ATVs, you need to make absolutely sure before you drive out.
