Icy Highway In Mankato Closed Due To Multi-Vehicle Pileup

  MANKATO (AP) - As many as 20 vehicles blocked eastbound lanes of a highway between Mankato and North Mankato in a pileup blamed on drivers going too fast for icy conditions.

The Minnesota State Patrol says six or seven vehicles were involved in a collision on Highway 14 Tuesday morning, causing the traffic snarl. One minor injury was reported.

The pileup closed that segment of the highway for about an hour during the morning commute.
