Huskies Dominate UMary, Reimer Earns 100th Win

St. Cloud State University men's basketball head coach Matt Reimer became the sixth coach in program history to earn 100 career wins as the team topped the University of Mary 88-56 on Friday.

UMary opened the game by scoring five unanswered points, but SCSU quickly took over. By the end of the first half, the Huskies led 39-21.

SCSU kept the momentum going in the second half. They outscored the Marauders 49-35 to put the game away.

Illya Tyrtyshnik led the team with 20 points and seven rebounds. Andrija Blatancic finished with 19 points, six rebounds, and a steal. Caleb Donaldson added 11 points, three rebounds, and two steals.

The Huskies improve to 4-4 and 1-1 NSIC and Reimer's career record improved to 100-64. The team will host Minot State University on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on AM 1390 Granite City Sports.
