Heat Advisory Today in Central Minnesota

UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for much of Minnesota from noon until 8:00 p.m. today (Tuesday).

The heat and humidity will be off and running Tuesday afternoon with high temperatures rising into the 90s, and heat indices exceeding 95 degrees.

Try to find a lake or outdoor pool Tuesday afternoon as it will be well worth it.

Relief is on the way Wednesday night as a cool front moves across the region, providing a good chance of thunderstorms.
