ST. CLOUD - The National Weather Service says there's a good chance Central Minnesota will see severe weather Saturday afternoon/evening.

A broken line of thunderstorms will develop over western Minnesota during the middle of the afternoon and will quickly become severe with very large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes possible.

The line will fill in as it approaches eastern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities metro, St. Cloud, and Mankato by the late afternoon/early evening. The greatest chance for severe weather should be from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
