Thunderstorms swept through Central Minnesota last night, reminding us how quickly peace can turn into chaos. A funnel cloud even made a surprise appearance near St. Stephen.
Stormy weather made its way through Central Minnesota Monday afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service issued numerous severe thunderstorm warnings south and west of St. Cloud.
Severe weather is a possibility for much of Minnesota and Wisconsin tonight. I talked with meteorologist Megan Mulford from the National Weather Service. She says to have a thunderstorm 3 ingredients are needed; moisture, instability and lift.
