GOLDEN VALLEY (AP) - General Mills is testing a meal delivery service in the Twin Cities.

The Golden Valley packaged food giant is targeting the frozen meals at seniors. General Mills has developed 25 meals under the Betty Crocker Kitchens name that will be distributed by CobornsDelivers.

If the idea works in the Twin Cities, General Mills plans to expand it to other markets. The company plans to launch the service with TV ads later this month. Customers can call an 800 number to order the meals or use a website. The minimum order is seven meals for $55. That includes delivery within 24 hours.
