Gary W. Nohner, 67, Eden Valley

July 19, 1952 - December 8, 2019

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley for Gary W. Nohner, age 67, who passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Hilltop Care Center in Watkins. Rev. Aaron Nett will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Eden Valley and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Rosary will be prayed at 2:45 p.m., followed by parish prayers at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Gary was born July 19, 1952 in St. Cloud to Leander & Walburga (Janssen) Nohner. He united in marriage to Joyce Loch on September 19, 1976 in Watkins. Gary was a mechanic for Arnold Chevrolet and also worked for Barbarosa & Sons. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church. Gary was a brilliant mechanic and liked motorcycling, camping, tractors, classic rock, classic cars, and playing with his grandchildren. He was gentle, loving, reliable, a caregiver, and a teddy bear.

Gary is survived by his wife, Joyce of Watkins; daughter and son, Amy (Ralph) Hansen of Richmond and Ryan (Shonda) Nohner of Watkins; mother, Walburga Nohner of Watkins; sister and brothers, Sandy (Tim) Kautzman of Litchfield, Steve (friend, Tammy) Nohner of Oklahoma, and Keith (Diane) Nohner of Farmington; and grandchildren, Julia, William, Leander, and Mallory. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Leander.
