A Waite Park Favorite: Find These Summer Specials at Friends Bar & Restaurant

Friends Bar & Restaurant might remind you of a popular television theme song. It's a 40-year Waite Park establishment known for homestyle comfort food, hand-crafted cocktails, and a large selection of beer on tap.

It's a favorite stop near the shopping district, and some might say it's "where old friends go and new friends meet." If you come there often enough, they may even know your name. If you've never been, might we recommend the Friends Burger? If you're brave, try it "firecracker style."

On top of everything else, they are so close to The Ledge that you could hear the music if you walked outside the restaurant during a show. Located at 236 2nd Ave. S, Waite Park, it's the perfect spot to grab food and drink before heading to a concert.

• $5.50 craft beer taps

• From 6-8 p.m. Mondays, they draw for prizes every 15 minutes, including beer swag, local gift cards, free drinks.
