UNDATED - Food aid organization Hunger Free MN wants you to know that there are more ways to qualify for food support than you might know.

The program, called SNAP, offers a variety of options for those facing unemployment, the elderly and anyone with a limited or fixed income.

Jill Martinez, Communication Manager at Hunger Free MN says they want to spread the word that there is help available, including lists of community resources for Minnesotans needing emergency food aid.

Martinez says the new campaign, in partnership with General Mills, reaches out to single adults facing unemployment who may not know they can receive assistance.
